Many people give thought to how they might prepare for some kind of national or local emergency. Anything from flooding to an influenza pandemic through to total socio-economic breakdown.

All kinds of guidelines exist from governments, health authorities and scientists but reading an advice leaflet is no substitute for quality, hands-on emergency preparedness training or urban survival training.

Trueways Urban Preparedness Training and Urban Survival Courses provide practical, hands-on training and information to allow you to cope with emergencies at any level, from small scale, short term problems disrupting local services (such as severe localised flooding) right through to national or international catastrophic disasters on a scale we rarely suffer but which keep occurring, such as the tsunami in the far east in 2004 or the worldwide influenza outbreaks which have happened three times in the last century and Maybe we think it’s always elsewhere, only seeing these things on TV or in the papers, but one day… it could be YOU!
